Zhao Congcang (Male) graduated from Department of History in Northwest University majoring in Archaeology and got his Master’s degree. He has been working in Northwest University and now is a Professor in School of Cultural Heritage. His major research fields are the Chinese Archaeology, Archaeological Science, and Antiquarianism.
He has taken charge of many projects, like ‘The Excavation and Research on Baoshan Site in Chenggu County’ sponsored by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. And the ‘Excavation Report on Baoshan Site in Chenggu County (1998)’ was awarded the ‘Third Prize of 7thAchievement Reward of Social Science in Shaanxi Province’.
In addition, a series of archaeological reports and research papers by Professor Zhao have been published such as the ‘The Introduction ofArchaeological Science’, ‘The Bronze Vessels of Cheng Yang’.
