Wang Jianxin

Wang Jianxin (Male) graduated from Department of History in Northwest University majoring in Archaeology and got his Bachelor’s degree. He is now a professor and Ph.D supervisor in College of Cultural Heritage, Northwest University and a guest professor of Research Center of Chinese Archaeology in Peking University. He is also a guest research fellow of Research Center of Ancient Civilization (CASS).

His research interests are Archaeology of Qin and Han Dynasties, Ethnoarchaeology of Northwest China, Archaeology of Northeast Asia, Cultural Heritage Management

He has taken charge of the‘Excavation and Research on Zhongbazi and Shangzhongba Sites in Wanzhou of Chongqing’. He also participated in the‘Excavation and Multidisciplinary Research on Ban Cun Site in Mian Chi County (1992-2002)’which was a key project of State Administration of Cultural Heritage.

Professor Wang’s main works include‘Hui People and Mo People in the period of Pre-Qin Dynasty’,‘Classification Research on the Bronze Sword of Northeast Asian System’.
