Chen Honghai, graduated from Peking University, Ph.D. History. Now he is director of college of cultural heritage of Northwest University, and professor of archaeology.
He engaged in prehistory archaeological research in Northwest region in China. He was a director of many archaeological excavation projects, such as Zongri site in Tongde county,Qinghai Province, Mogou site in Lintan county, Gansu Province, Qiafuqihai cemetery in Tekes County, Xinjiang.
Two Archaeological reports Hetaozhuang Site in Minghe County and Xiaweiluo Site in Xunyi were authored by him. Three theses were his representative works in prehistory archaeological academic sector, which are Burial form Research of Prehistory Tombs in Gansu and Qinhai Area’, ‘About Zongri Culture’, ‘Differentiate and Analysis Secondeary Disturb Burial of Prehistory Culture in Gansu and Qinhai
