Qian Yaopeng, received the Ph.D.in History from the Archaeology Department of Peking University in 1999. He got the further education in Japan from 1993 to 1994 and was engaged as the guest researcher by the Center of Study for the Ancient Civilization of CASS in 1995. And now he is serving as the professor of the School of Cultural Heritage in Northwest University and his research interests is Prehistory.
He has taken charge of many archaeology projects,like Zaoshugounao Site, Neolithic Cultures in China-Northwest Leading Academic Discipline Project, and An Introduction to Archaeology-Ministry of Education’s 11th five-year plan.
In addition, a series of archaeological reports and research books by Professor Qian have been published, such as The Excavation Report on Anban Site in Fufeng. The Chinese Prehistoric City Site and Civilization Origin, and more than 40 academic theses were published.
